Phygital Networking: the QG Design Hub event where connections and innovation generate a new design culture

A gathering where dialogue, knowledge, and relationships intertwined, capturing the very essence of the QG Design Hub as a place of experimentation and vision.

In today’s design landscape, where technological evolution runs parallel to the need to cultivate meaningful professional relationships, the QG Design Hub reaffirms its identity as a workshop in which dialogue between different areas of expertise becomes a true driver of innovation.

On Tuesday, December 2nd, at the exhibition space on Via Tito Speri 7, the event “Phygital Networking: Community and Design” took place. Conceived for architects, interior designers, general contractors, developers, and real estate professionals, the meeting offered a comprehensive reflection on how the integration of digital tools and collaborative processes can transform design culture.

The protagonists of the evening were Cavazzoni Associati, a leading practice with over thirty years of experience in technological and architectural design, and Spazio Progetto, an organization that since 2011 has been fostering connections, dialogue, and shared visions within the building sector.

Guided by the reflections of Marco Nicolé, the discussion highlighted emerging needs within the industry, particularly in the retail sector, where constant dialogue among all stakeholders, a truly integrated multidisciplinary approach, and coordinated process management are essential to enhancing the quality and performance of projects.

Interwoven with Nicolé’s contribution was the testimony of Spazio Progetto, which for years has been creating opportunities for cultural exchange aimed at encouraging collaboration among professionals. Today, this activity is further amplified by the digital platform Building Square, representing the natural evolution of networking and introducing a phygital environment where artificial intelligence and digital tools help streamline relationships and design dynamics.

The evening concluded with a Made in Italy aperitivo, a convivial moment of networking that further enhanced the sharing of expertise and visions. In continuity with previous events, the QG Design Hub, together with its partners Quadrifoglio Group, Codina Architectural, Emboss Panels, Soloeco, Infinity, and beWall, reaffirmed its commitment to advanced education. On this occasion, the Hub powerfully revealed its identity as a workshop of contemporary design: a place where experimentation and knowledge open up new design perspectives.

Our sincere thanks to Cavazzoni Associati and Spazio Progetto for their authoritative contribution to the event.

The QG Design Hub at its first official event in the new showroom

In a Milan preparing to embrace the festive season, on Thursday, November 28ᵗʰ the QG Design Hub hosted its first official event, Il design olfattivo made in collaboration with Gritti Venetia: founded in 2009 by Luca Gritti, the Emilia-based brand with Venetian roots which embodies Made in Italy excellence, renowned for its meticulous attention to ingredients, fragrance compositions, and packaging.

The fil rouge bonding Gritti Venetia and the QG Design Hub's partners is undoubtedly design, and precisely the demonstration of how two different declinations of it (visual and olfactory) can enhance each other that the event was centered around.

On the first floor of the showroom at Via Tito Speri 7, an olfactory journey guided the guests through an exploration of this union between design and fragrances.
Each stop on the journey, representing distinct areas of the showroom, featured carefully curated combinations of furniture, accessories, and scents, designed precisely to give each space a distinctive identity, evoking specific atmospheres and emotions.

Among the featured pairings:

Precious woods, dark caramel, and cotton flowers: an ideal combination for residential spaces, conveying warmth and cosiness;

Wild honey, golden amber, and spices: perfect for welcoming reception areas, these fragrances create a refined and inviting atmosphere;

Green tea, grapefruit pulp, and white musk: a vibrant and balanced mix designed to foster dialogue in meeting spaces.

The high guests' engagement and enthusiasm remarked the event's success, showcasing how fragrances and furnishings can give life to a harmonious and complementary match able to create original spaces stimulating the senses, embody emotions, and reflect strong personalities.

In a context increasingly focused on personalisation and attention to details, sensory design is emerging as a frontier capable of enriching both living and professional experiences.
The event offered a moment of reflection and discovery, blending elegance and sensations, while providing a unique opportunity for partners to share ideas, innovations, and high-level networking moments.

A special thanks goes to Gritti Venetia, the esteemed partner who transformed the showroom into a true sensory journey, and to all the participants who contributed to the success of this unique evening.
